Florigen es la hip\u00f3tesis de mol\u00e9culas similares a las hormonas responsables de controlar y \/ o desencadenar la floraci\u00f3n en las plantas. El florigen se produce en las hojas y act\u00faa en el meristema apical del principio de los brotes y de las puntas de crecimiento. Se sabe que es injerto-transmisible, e incluso funciona entre especies. Sin embargo, la naturaleza exacta del florigen sigue siendo un misterio. En cualquier caso, sin florigen la marihuana no florece.<\/p>\n
El cannabis, a excepci\u00f3n del ruderalis, necesita por lo menos entre 11 y 13 horas de oscuridad para producir suficiente florigen como para florecer. Esta hormona de la floraci\u00f3n se crea en base al nivel de az\u00facares que la planta ha producido durante la fotos\u00edntesis durante todas las veces que ha estado expuesta a la luz.<\/p>\n
